What is the ®Trezor Login® process?

The ®Trezor Login® process is the series of steps you follow to connect your Trézor® hardware device to the computer or mobile app, unlock the device, and access the Trezor Suite application (or compatible software) to manage your cryptocurrency safely. This page covers the official, manufacturer-recommended steps to start your device and sign in securely.

Official resources: Always verify downloads at the manufacturer pages — trezor.io/start and suite.trezor.io.

Before you begin — safety checklist

Step 1 — Unbox and connect your Trézor® device

Unpack your ®Trezor® and connect it to your computer using the supplied cable. When powered, the device screen will show a welcome message and prompt you to follow instructions on trezor.io/start or in Trezor Suite.

USB connection example: USB‑A/USB‑C cable → computer → Trézor®

Step 2 — Download Trezor Suite and start the login

Open Trezor Suite or download the desktop application from the official site. The Suite will guide you through the device discovery, firmware verification, and creation of a new wallet or recovery import.

When the Suite asks for a login or pin, use the pin you set on your ®Trezor® device. The PIN is not transmitted — it's entered on the device itself for added security.

Step 3 — Initialize, set PIN, and write down your recovery seed

Follow the on‑device prompts to create a new wallet or restore an existing one. If creating a new wallet, you will be shown a recovery seed (the backup phrase) — write it down exactly as shown and store it securely offline. Treat the seed as the ultimate key to your funds.

Never store your recovery seed online, in photos, or on cloud storage. Trezor® support will never ask for your seed.
